Dual Sealing Liquid Monitor
KYTOLA has released the latest version of its SLM sealing liquid monitor especially designed for double mechanical seals.
The new Dual SLM has been especially designed for double mechanical seals on pumps and other equipment where seal leakages can be detected more clearly, accurately and quicker than with single SLMs.
This is achieved by measuring both inlet and outlet seal water flows. The pressure at the seal is easily obtained via the pressure gauge installed on the unit.
Reliable and accurate flow measurement is based on a variable area metering principle using a free-floating float.
By using the Dual SLM, designed to withstand contaminated water, the proper adjustment and control of flow and pressure can result in water and energy savings.
The strong and compact design ensures maximum resistance to external impact. The built in cleaner is designed not to interfere with the operation. It effectively removes built-up contaminants without removing the SLM from service.
The long, clear metering scales guarantee visibility and easy reading of the flow.
The Dual SLM can be equipped with alarm outputs on both inlet and outlet flows to advise high or low flow problems within the seal.
