Kytola Extend Ovalgear Flowmeter Range
Kytola Model SR Oval Gear Meters are designed for accurate and reliable measurement and monitoring of lubrication oil and other viscous fluid flows in demanding industrial environments.
The SR range is now extended to include ranges from as low as 0.3 litres/min up to 100 litres/min. The smaller units 0.3, 1.0, 2.5 and 6.0 litres/min are now also available as single units which include the excellent service valve feature.
Service Valves allow the Oval Gears to be bypassed for maintenance while still maintaining a flow of lubricating oil.
A new High Pressure version of the SR Oval Gear Meter with an all AISI 316 stainless steel body can be used at up to 400 bar for use on hydraulic applications.
The model SR Oval Gear Meter is a positive displacement meter which always shows the correct flow rate regardless of temperature / viscosity changes. The flowmeter consists of two elliptical gears which the flow rotates. The rotation speed is proportional to the flow rate which is picked up by a sensor and the pulse signal can be transferred to indicators, counters or automation systems for monitoring and alarm purposes.
